Prior to joining The H Collective, Crawley served as President of International Marketing and Distribution at Paramount Pictures where he was responsible for the design, development, and implementation of all international sales, distribution, marketing, and advertising strategies of Paramount's theatrical releases.
Crawley spearheaded the international marketing efforts on many of Paramount’s most popular franchises including TRANSFORMERS, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE, STAR TREK, TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, and G.I. JOE. He also oversaw many successful overseas campaigns including XXX: RETURN OF XANDER CAGE, JACK REACHER, THE BIG SHORT, THE SPONGEBOB MOVIE: SPONGE OUT OF WATER, WORLD WAR Z, NEBRASKA, and NOAH.
Before Paramount, he worked at Walt Disney Pictures serving as Senior Vice President of International Marketing.
Jenna has practiced entertainment law with a focus on motion pictures for over 20 years. Previously as President of Media 8 Entertainment, Jenna led the day-to-day corporate operations of the successful independent film company and oversaw the negotiation of primary acquisitions, development, production, distribution, and finance transactions. This involved multi-national co-productions, equity investments, collateralized and gap production loans, and state and foreign tax credits and subsidies. Jenna’s practice has included a special emphasis on international film licensing and distribution as well as above-the-line talent negotiation with complex, multi-level backend participation structures.
Prior to Media 8, Jenna had significant business and legal affairs experience in-house, and was a co-founding partner at transactional entertainment firm Business Affairs, Inc. While there, she represented major corporate clients and independent film producers, distributors, sales agents, and financiers in a broad range of motion picture and television transactions with budgets ranging from under $1 million to over $100 million.
Del has over 30 years of experience in media and entertainment primarily at various operating units of 21st Century Fox (21CF). As longtime CFO of Fox Networks Group, Del led finance and accounting for 21CF's largest business unit which included the Fox Sports Media Group, FOX Broadcasting Entertainment, FX Networks, National Geographic Partners and FOX International Channels. He also oversaw engineering, broadcast operations and information technology. Del's first role at 21CF was responsibility for SEC reporting for 20th Century Fox Studios. Mayberry began his career at Big 4 accounting firm KPMG.
President of Production
Sherryl oversees all aspects of development and production across The H Collective's slate. Before joining The H Collective in May 2018, Clark founded Busted Shark Productions where she produced PLUSH with Blumhouse for director Catherine Hardwicke; FATHERS & DAUGHTERS starring Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, and Aaron Paul; VIRAL directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman for Blumhouse Productions and Dimension Films; and WISH UPON starring Joey King & Ryan Phillippe with director John R. Leonetti. Prior to that, Clark was Head of Film at J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot where she oversaw all production and development projects. During her time at Bad Robot, Clark was involved in bringing franchise giants STAR TREK and MISSION IMPOSSIBLE to the big screen, produced CLOVERFIELD and MORNING GLORY, and oversaw SUPER 8 directed by Abrams and starring Elle Fanning. Clark has vast experience as both a producer and an executive, having begun her career at The Walt Disney company and subsequently rising through the ranks at Kopelson Entertainment, where she started as Vice President of Creative Affairs and ascended to President of Production.
Ivy Sun brings a wealth of experience in capital markets and financial services to H Collective. Prior to joining us, Ivy was the founder and CEO of Zita Credit, a leading fintech company in China using big data and AI to solve financial needs for clients. Prior to founding the company, Ivy was a senior executive at Lashou.com, one of the largest Chinese online to offline internet platforms in China. Ivy also worked for Bank of America Merrill Lynch for 6 years in sales and trading and has a deep understanding of global capital markets. Her unique combination of experiences and network in investment banking, financial services and high-tech industry serves as an important catalyst for our burgeoning international business activities around the globe. Ivy graduated from Cambridge University with a Master and Bachelor degree in Mathematics.
VP, BUSINESS & LEGAL AFFAIRS
Grace is an attorney with expertise in entertainment and media matters ranging from finance, development, production, sales and distribution, and in diverse media including live action and animation features and television, digital media, gaming, virtual and augmented reality, merchandising and other ancillary rights. Grace was previously Senior Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs at DMG Entertainment, and Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs at Unified Pictures, and she has consulted for studios including Lionsgate Entertainment, TNT/tbs Originals, Legendary Entertainment, and NBCUniversal, among others. Grace’s unique perspective on her clients’ business and creative needs stems from her years of experience on the production side of film and television, including at Saturday Night Live and the Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
Director of Development
Tessie Groff is the Director of Development at The H Collective, having formerly worked in development and acquisitions at Miramax, the motion picture department at John Wells Productions, and the motion picture talent division at ICM. She received a BA in Film Production at USC's School of Cinematic Arts. On behalf of The H Collective, Tessie covers development and production of feature film projects, reporting to CEO Nic Crawley and President of Production Sherryl Clark.
Derek started his career at Magical Elves, an Emmy-winning television production company whose partnerships include NBC, Netflix, HBO, Bravo, and Showtime. He moved to the Chinese production/distribution company, UEP, as a development manager where he gained experience in the Chinese film industry. As creative executive at The H Collective, he is responsible for bringing in new material and overseeing development of feature film projects.
